During my last visit to China in 2009 I took photos of all sorts of situations attracting me. Back in Berlin I startet to paint onto these photos causing shapes to appear looking dragon like.
The performance “future landscape“ refers to that transformation, where some shadowy existence emerges and vanishes again.
What does that occurrence have to do with the powers of the potent and auspicious Chinese Dragons? – Jens Reulecke in cooperation with Betty Zhang from Chengdu are entering a collective experiment and see in which way the “powerful and auspicious“ comes out.
